Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) affects around 130 million women in the world today, mostly in Africa, Asia and Middle East countries and carries lifelong psychological and physical effects. The practice has been outlawed in many African States with the support of many religious leaders. Clitoraid is a non profit association that aims to build a Pleasure hospital in Burkina Faso, West Africa, that will offer free medical services for physical restoration and rehabilitation for FGM victims.
